Four men have been arrested and charged in connection with a man’s death in East Renfrewshire more than four years ago.
Tony Ferns was attacked while sitting in his Audi A3 in Thornliebank’s Crebar Street on 18 April 2019.
The 33-year-old managed to make it home to Roukenburn Street, where paramedics fought to save his life, but he died with his mother Phyllis watching on.
On Friday, Police Scotland announced that four men – aged 37, 48, 54 and 67 – had been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later on Friday.
A force spokesperson added: “A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
