Esra Sönmezer decided to start stem cell therapy for a longer and more comfortable life for the Persian cat Bebek, who has been suffering from polycystic kidney disease for six years. After the second dose of stem cell treatment, the baby became weak and his condition became serious. Serum treatment was applied for four days. The cat, which was treated in the intensive care unit, died on the sixth day of treatment.
Sönmezer had cut a cake and blew out candles for Bebek, which he had organized for his 10th birthday on March 10. The famous server said, “This handsome man taught me a lot in life.”
Esra Sönmezer, who was deeply saddened by the death of Bebek, said that the stem cell treatment had triggered the death of her cat. After the death of her cat, the server wrote the message “My pain is great” by sharing on her social media account.

I love all animals, not just my own cat. My cat had polycystic kidney disease for a long time but was healthy. We also decided to start stem cell therapy so that he can live longer. There was no problem in the first dose of the treatment, when I took the second dose, my cat got sick and died. My cat died after the application.
The 37-year-old famous name said, “Until now, I have spent over 1-1.5 million dollars for my cat. I will not abandon those who caused my cat’s death. Whoever is responsible for my cat’s death will be held accountable in court. The baby was like my child. We buried him in a cemetery for animals in Tekirdağ. I don’t have the psychology to look after an animal anymore,” he said.
